In accepting Mr. Hafele’s resignation, the Board of School Directors also reassigned Upper Moreland Intermediate School Principal Joseph Waters to the position of Upper Moreland Middle School Principal, effective August 3, they said in a news release.
“I am committed to this community and have dedicated my entire career to the Upper Moreland School District," Waters said in a prepared statement. To fill the vacancy left by Waters’ transition from the Intermediate School to the Upper Moreland Middle School, the Board promoted Elementary Center Assistant Principal Michael Bair to the position of Upper Moreland Intermediate School Principal, the release states.
Bair, who is beginning his fifteenth year with the Upper Moreland School District, has served as a regular and special education teacher at the Elementary and High School levels. Bair earned his Undergraduate Degree as a triple major in Elementary Education, Special Education and Early Childhood at Temple University. He holds a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Holy Family University, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Immaculata University.
