Victorian Village II, CVS Projects Addressed In Hatboro
Hatboro officials provided residents with updates regarding several land development projects in the borough.

HATBORO, PA —The borough has a lot of developments on its plate.
Borough officials once provided updates on several key developments and their stages this week.
The Victorian Village II project has been delayed for quite some time due to the cost of construction materials. Borough officials said the developer is beginning to perform more site work in preparation for construction, and additional information should be forthcoming in the next few months.

The long-dormant CVS property on South York Road was the first project under the borough's mixed-use Town Center Ordinance to receive the stamp of approval by the Borough Council at the end of November.
Borough officials said the developer is working on the next steps of filing agreements, and posting financial security, among other items.

Last January, the Hatboro Borough Council approved a mixed-use ordinance for a section of York Road from Byberry Road to Montgomery Avenue, allowing buildings to be taller than 35 feet.
The ordinance allows developers to make proposals that could see building heights go to 60 feet provided they meet certain guidelines, meaning that the downtown district could have taller buildings and apartments.
All plans need final approval by the Hatboro Borough Council.
The Canalley Property at 21-23 & 37 N. York Road was issued conditional use approval on Jan. 22.
The developer still has multiple land development items to address and will be going back before the Planning Commission on March 12 before then once again appearing before the Borough Council.
Approval on that project could be months away, officials said.
Meanwhile, the owners of 2 Home Road are working on finalizing plans for a new home to be constructed on the subdivided lot. Borough officials said they would provide updates on the project when they become available.
