HATBORO, PA — The borough of Hatboro provided residents with some road work and project updates this week, for an upcoming water main relocation project and a planned pedestrian improvement project.

The water main relocation project will take about two months, with Aqua scheduled to begin work on Feb. 1. The project will be on West Moreland Avenue, from Flamingo to Broad Street. There may be intermittent lane closures on West Moreland Avenue between Broad and Flamingo when work begins, but access will still be available.

This work is being done to prepare for the West Moreland Avenue Bridge Replacement Project.

"Aqua has informed the Borough that this work could be delayed again should be bridge project continue to be delayed," officials said. "We will inform residents of any changes in this work schedule as Aqua provides updates."

Also, officials said that Marino Corp will begin delivering notices to residents, regarding a start date the Jacksonville and Meadowbrook Pedestrian Improvement Project. When the borough has an updated schedule, they will post another notice for neighbors and motorists.
