Why go: Proceeds from the 20th annual craft show benefit the Hatboro-Horsham High School marching band.
Cost: Free admission.
Where/when: Hatboro’s downtown shopping district along York Road, Saturday from noon to 6 p.m.
Why go: Discover the arts as entertainers perform at ; stop by for its grand opening and the chance to win jewelry; and enjoy special discounts at select merchants.
Cost: Free to stroll.
Where/when: , 411 Babylon Road, Horsham, Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.
Why go: Hosted by state reps. Tom Murt and Todd Stephens, the Senior Health and Lifestyle Expo will provide medical screenings, such as blood pressure or hydration tests; and will have health care experts on hand to answer questions and provide information on what services are available for older Pennsylvanians.
Cost: Free
Where/when: , 300 Veterans Cir., Warminster, Sunday. Registration begins at 7:45 a.m. and the race gets underway at 9 a.m.
Why go: The annual 5K run and walk provides college scholarships to three William Tennent High School students. The fundraiser is done in memory of Kyle Quinn, who was killed on Sept. 7, 2007 at Kutztown University.
Cost: $25 for adults by Friday; $30 the day of the race.
