West Moreland Avenue Bridge Reconstruction Delayed
The West Moreland Avenue Bridge Replacement Project began in January 2026. The Moreland Avenue Bridge is owned by Montgomery County.
HATBORO, PA — The demolition of the old West Moreland Avenue Bridge has been successfully completed, borough officials said on Monday.
Officials said that while Montgomery County and contractor H&K are actively working on the bridge project, the bridge reconstruction is now being delayed by Verizon utility work.
The West Moreland Avenue Bridge Replacement Project began in January.

The Moreland Avenue Bridge is owned and maintained by Montgomery County and connects the Borough of Hatboro with Upper Moreland Township.
Montgomery County will continue to update Hatboro Borough on construction progress as the project continues as well as post updates.
