Where It All Began
Hatboro-Horsham grad returns to Eastern to teach students photography tricks of the trade.

Some kids can't wait to graduate and put their high school days behind them.
But, for Nick Raimondi, a 2011 Hatboro-Horsham High School/Eastern Center for Arts and Technology grad, it's like he never left school.
Raimondi, now a Montgomery County Community College student, has spent his last three summers teaching photography for Eastern’s Summer Fun program.

He has always had an interest in art and photography and chose to attend the commercial art program at Eastern for his junior and senior years of high school after attending a presentation held at when he was in 10th-grade. He heard from some students enrolled in the Commercial Art program that Eastern is a good way to get into prestigious art programs in college, and to develop a professional portfolio.
“If you have an interest in any aspect of art, Eastern’s Commercial Art program is a good way to prepare yourself for college and the real world," Raimondi said in a press release. “I learned a great deal from my instructors and I truly enjoy coming back to Eastern as a teacher for the Summer Fun program.”

Once he completes his associate degree in general fine arts from Montgomery County Community College, Raimondi plans to pursue his bachelor’s degree in art education with a minor in photography at Temple University. From there, the freelance wedding photographer intends to pursue a career in fashion photography.
