Win a Free Bike During Horsham Police's National Night Out
The police department is recognizing the national initiative to build stronger communities.
The following was provided to Patch:
One lucky boy or girl will win a free bike at the Horsham Township Police Department’s National Night Out Celebration on Tuesday, Aug. 5.
Parents can e-mail a picture of their child wearing a safety helmet on a bike to police@horsham.org. The pictures will be posted (with first name only) on the Horsham ChAT’s Facebook page and a winner will be chosen from the bunch.

Horsham Township Police Department will be sponsoring the 3rd annual National Night Out event at the Horsham Township Municipal Complex located at 1025 Horsham Road on Tuesday between 6 and 9 p.m. Other highlights include demonstrations by the Abington Police Departments K-9 unit, the regional S.W.A.T. team and the Horsham Fire Department’s use of the jaws of life.
This free event allows community members to explore various police, fire and ems apparatus with hands-on tours of police cars, fire trucks and ambulance. Music, moon bounce by Bounce U, as well as a car show sponsored by Speed Raceway and Kids Safety Town are also featured.
Bring non-perishable food supplies to help feed less fortunate families and get one free raffle ticket per item (no limits). Donated food items go to St. Vincent dePaul Food Pantry located at St. Catherine of Siena Church.

Suggested donations include canned fruit and vegetables, pasta, rice, spaghetti sauce, cereal, peanut butter and jelly, canned tuna, coffee, powdered milk and bottled, canned or boxed juices, baby food and pet food.
