Yoga Mind (5 week Mindful/Meditation Beginner Series)

We all hear the benefits of meditation and mindfulness and have even felt them at times, but have you been able to apply the practice to your daily life?

This 5 week series will be an introduction to the art of mindfulness and meditation. Within each session, Dan Connell, yoga and meditation instructor, will explain the various practices of meditation and mindfulness, using information from ancient texts as well as modern scientific studies to help create a sustainable practice that fits any lifestyle.

There will be set time for lecture and group discussion as well as some formal and informal practice. Guidelines and support will be offered to create your own individual practice at home.

Dates: Sundays 10am-11am January 3rd-31st
Cost: Members Free; Non members/Drop ins 5 week series $60 or $15 a class. Registration required.
