• Man pleads guilty in Kingston shooting (citizensvoice.com) — A Kingston family visit turned tragic when a man accidentally shot his 7-year-old cousin after handling a recently purchased handgun while high on marijuana at a Center Avenue home. The child suffered non-life-threatening injuries, and the shooter has now pleaded guilty to multiple misdemeanor reckless endangerment charges, with sentencing set for November in Luzerne County Court.
   

• Alhamar caravan holds festival for special needs individuals (citizensvoice.com) — Local volunteers and sponsors, including Bonner Chevrolet in Kingston, helped the Order of Alhambra host a joyful festival for individuals with intellectual disabilities in Wilkes-Barre. The event also honored the late Victoria A.
