LANSDALE, PA — Police responded to a rescue call of a different nature recently in Lansdale.
Three officers arrived at a local home to investigate noises inside the chimney.
Inside, Sgt. Erbele, Officer Ruel, and Officer Harney discovered a trio of raccoon kits.
The tiny animals were stuck deep inside the chimney, and officers had to work hard to successfully remove them. All three were safely brought out.
Police then transferred the young animals to Chalfont-based Aark Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center, where they'll be further cared for.
