HATFIELD, PA — Hatfield will mark a major milestone this weekend as the grand opening of their long-awaited police station takes place.
The event will be held on Saturday, June 20 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Food trucks, a live band, a bounce house, foam party, and vendors will all be on site.
The event will be capped off by fireworks at 8:30 p.m.
Police Chief William Tierney led a fundraising effort for the event so that it could be held without the use of taxpayer funds. Numerous local businesses are sponsoring the event.
"This will be one of the biggest events in the history of Hatfield," police said.
Cowpath Road will be closed during the celebration. Parking is available in the Snyder Square Shopping Center.
