NORTH WALES, PA — Construction started Thursday in North Wales on a project that will restrict a local roadway for the rest of the year.
A lane of Walnut Street will be closed, and traffic controlled with flagging, through Dec. 31. Work will take place 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said.
Construction is underway on the road to improve driver safety, officials said.
The restriction will impact Walnut Street from Swartley Street to West Street.
Drivers should plan on additional travel time in the area.
