LANSDALE, PA — A two-alarm fire broke out at an apartment building in Lansdale Wednesday afternoon.
The incident began at around 12:13 p.m. on East Main Street near the intersection with Broad Street.
At least one victim was rescued from the blaze as the building was evacuated, authorities said.
Heavy smoke was seen from around the area Wednesday afternoon.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
Residents and drivers are asked to avoid the area as first responders continue to work the scene.
