NORTH WALES, PA — Loyal customers turned out in droves on Wednesday night to Ten7 Brewing Company's special Oct. 7 event in North Wales.
A pillar of the community for years, Ten7 announced weeks ago that they would be closing down for good within the next few months.
While Wednesday night's "10/7 Day" was not their final night, it did have the air of a sendoff and celebration for what the small business has meant to the North Wales community and beyond.
"We have been humbled beyond words with the outpouring of love and support since we first announced Ten7 would be closing," owners shared Thursday. "The posts and comments on social media, the texts and phone calls. We have truly been amazed. Last night, we were able to physically see and feel all that love and support with our own eyes and hearts. It was amazing to see so many familiar faces, so many old friends, new friends, and people who have been such a large part of the Ten7 story over the years in one room."
Ten7 owners Bob Heger, Joanne Heger, Karen Coleman, and Gerry Viglietti were behind the bar for the duration of the night.
The turnout was massive Wednesday, and lines went out the door. Customers were praised for their patience.
"When it was finally your turn to order, you did it with a smile," they added. "And when you had to wait again to get your order filled, you smiled as we handed you your drinks. We can't tell you how much that meant to us."
The popular establishment was among the vanguard of microbreweries that arrived in Montgomery County in the 2010s. It's been operating since 2017 and the taproom has been open since 2018.
Ten7 is located on 510 Beaver Street.
