• Lansdowne says no to immigration enforcement participation (delcotimes.com) — Lansdowne Borough Council has passed a new ordinance barring borough staff, police, and resources from participating in federal civil immigration enforcement programs like 287(g), while still honoring criminal law and valid warrants. Local leaders say the move is meant to protect Lansdowne's diverse, largely long-term resident community and to lock this policy into local law unless a future council formally changes it.
