$207K In Grants Going To 15 Lower Bucks Fire Companies
The grants from state Sen. Steve Santarsiero will assist fire and EMS crews in Bensalem, Levittown and Yardley.

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —More than $200,000 in grants are being doled out to 15 fire departments and EMS units in Bensalem Township, Levittown, and Yardley and its surrounding communities.
State Sen. Steve Santarsiero, (D-10), said the grants from the Office of the State Fire Commissioner are offered annually for a wide variety of projects relating to equipment, training, debt reduction.
“It is critical that we support our fire companies and EMS workers, who keep our loved ones safe every day by putting themselves on the front lines,” Santarsiero said. “Our communities are a safer and better place as a result of these brave men and women. This funding will help ensure that they have the resources they need to continue their vital work.”
