4 Lower Bucks Towns Part Of 25-Mile Road Project
PennDOT begins repairs and resurfacing on the Lower Bucks roads Monday. Motorists should be aware of lane closures.

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —Four Lower Bucks County townships will be among those that PennDOT has scheduled as part of its project to repair and resurface 25 miles of roads in the county.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said construction begins Monday on the $9.4 million project with roads slated for work in Langhorne Borough, and Falls, Middletown, and Lower Makefield townships.

- Monday, June 12, through Friday, June 30, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 413 (Langhorne Newtown Road/Pine Street) from Route 332 (Newtown Bypass) to just north of Gilliam Avenue in Langhorne Borough and Middletown Township.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. The schedule is weather dependent.

- Pine Grove Road/Yardley-Morrisville Road between Route 1 (Martin Luther King Jr. Expressway) and Delavue Road in Lower Makefield and Falls townships.
- Taylorsville Road between Taylorsville Road over Dyers Creek and Route 32 (River Road) in Lower Makefield and Upper Makefield townships.
Under this improvement project, PennDOT is milling the existing roadway surface and repaving the state highways with new asphalt. The new pavement will seal the roadways and provide motorists with a smoother riding surface.
Blooming Glen Contractors, Inc. of Perkasie, Bucks County, is the general contractor on this project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds.
