$500K Coming For Middletown Twp. Public Works Upgrades

MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The township is getting $500,000 in state funding to make upgrades at its public works yard.

State Sen. Frank Farry has secured the funding to support the demolition, reconstruction and expansion of the township's Department of Public Works yard and facilities, improving operations and the township's ability to serve residents.

The funding was awarded through the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program, which is administered by the Pennsylvania Office of the Budget and provides grants for the acquisition and construction of regional economic, cultural, civic, recreational and historical improvement projects.

RACP projects are intended to have a regional or multi-jurisdictional impact while generating or sustaining economic activity, employment and tax revenue.

"Every one of these projects will make a meaningful difference in Bucks County,” Farry said. “This funding will help communities move forward with long-planned improvements that will better serve residents now and well into the future."
