MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Township Manager position is a roller coaster right now, with the former one who retired coming back to replace the recent one who was fired.
Township Manager Stephanie Teoli-Kuhls, who retired last summer, replaced and was replaced by Eden R. Ratliff, who was terminated by the Middletown Township Board of Supervisors for undisclosed reasons last week.
Township officials said that Kuhls is on board temporarily.
The township is not taking applications for Ratliff's permanent replacement.
The township is seeking an "experienced and forward-thinking" township manager.
Serving a community of more than 46,000 residents, the role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, supporting staff, and advancing the vision of the supervisors.
"This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting impact in a community that values service, collaboration, and progress," officials said.

Ratliff was on the job for less than a year. His termination is effective on June 13.
Township officials said they would honor his contract and provide him with 60 days' notice for his termination.
