TULLYTOWN BOROUGH, PA — Cars and commercial trucks are speeding along Main Street, and residents are alarmed about their safety.
The Tullytown Borough Police Department said they continue to receive numerous complaints from residents regarding speeding vehicles along Main Street.
Police officers are actively conducting traffic enforcement in these areas and will continue to address violations as they are observed.
"Excessive speed creates unnecessary danger and puts others at risk," police said. "We are asking all motorists traveling through Tullytown to slow down, pay attention, and obey all traffic laws."
Police said that borough road safety is a shared responsibility, and expectations need to be met by everyone behind the wheel.
"Speed limits are in place for a reason, to protect the people who live, walk, drive, and work throughout our community," police said. " A few extra minutes of travel time is far better than the consequences that can come from reckless driving."
