FAIRLESS HILLS, PA — The longtime principal of the Pennsbury High School campus is taking a similar position in New Jersey.
Reggie Meadows — the principal of the Pennsbury High East and West campuses — informed the school community in an email on Wednesday that he will retire at the end of the 2025-2026 school year.
Meadows said he was officially approved by the Cherry Hill Board of Education as the next principal of Rosa Middle School in the Cherry Hill School District in New Jersey.
"It is with a mixture of excitement and sadness that I share my intention to retire from Pennsbury at the end of the 2025–2026 school year," Meadows said. "I am excited to begin a new chapter in July and grateful for the opportunity to continue serving students, staff, and families in this new role."
Meadows served a decade as principal and 18 years as an administrator at the high school.
Meadows said his decision was not made lightly, especially in the wake of the school district building a new high school.
"I have a genuine love for Pennsbury High School, this community, and the people who make it such a special place, "Meadows said. "I will remain fully committed to my role through the end of the school year and will do everything in my power to ensure a smooth and successful transition."
Back in 2003, Meadows said he applied for a Social Studies teaching position at Pennsbury High School. At the time, he said he had no idea where the Pennsbury School District was located.
"Looking back now, it is incredible to realize how deeply this school and community have become a part of my life," he said. "Whoever steps into this role next will inherit a school filled with talented staff members, awesome students, and tremendous momentum."
