FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — Residents of a Trenton Road home were displaced after a car crashed into it, police said.
The Falls Township Police Department responded at 4:45 p.m. on Friday after a 17-year-old male driver from Bristol Township fell asleep while driving alone in a silver Dodge Caravan in the 300 block of Trenton Road in Fairless Hills.
The driver left the road and struck an occupied home.
While there was a man inside, he did not sustain any injuries, police said.
The Falls Township Fire Marshal's Office evaluated the home and determined it was unsafe and uninhabitable due to the structural damage sustained during the collision.
The 17-year-old male driver reported no injuries, but later went to an area hospital by personal vehicle for evaluation.
Anyone having witnessed the accident is asked to contact the assigned investigator, P/O Robert Evangelista, at 215-949-9123, or via email at r.evangelista@fallstwppd.com.
