BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — A 5-year-old boy was injured after being struck while riding his E-bike on Sunday night, police said.
The Bristol Township Police Department responded at 6:39 p.m. Sunday to the crash on Green Lane.
Lt. Mark Titus said a preliminary investigation found that a 2022 Toyota Camry was heading south on Green Lane towards Mill Creek Road.
The boy was rising a ‘Strike Throne’ e-bicycle east out of the parking lot of Truman High School. He was struck by the passenger side front corner of the Camry when the e-bicycle entered the roadway, police said.
The boy was taken by the Levittown Fairless Hills Rescue Squad to St. Mary’s Hospital, where he was later transported by helicopter to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Police said they did not know the extent of the boy's injuries at this time.
Police were assisted at the scene by the Levittown Fairless Hills Rescue Squad, and Bristol Township Fire Police.
