1. Driver Crashes Through Falls Township Home (patch.com) — Residents in the Levittown section of Falls Township woke to a frightening scene Sunday morning when a speeding SUV blew through an intersection and crashed into a Thornridge Drive home, narrowly missing two young children inside. Police say the driver, a nearby resident, faces DUI and multiple traffic charges, and the damaged house has been deemed uninhabitable while the investigation continues.
2. 5-Year-Old Boy On E-Bike Struck By Car In Bristol Twp. (patch.com) — A 5-year-old boy was seriously hurt Sunday evening when his e-bike entered Green Lane near Truman High School and was struck by a passing car, according to Bristol Township police. The child was first treated and transported by the Levittown Fairless Hills Rescue Squad before being flown to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and investigators are asking witnesses from the Levittown-Bristol area to come forward.
3. Sexual Assault At Levittown Park Under Investigation (levittownnow.com) — State police are investigating a reported sexual assault of a woman walking along the Delaware Canal towpath near Haines and Edgely roads in Bristol Township’s Levittown section. Troopers and park rangers are seeking tips from anyone who was in the area Saturday afternoon and ask residents to contact the Trevose Criminal Investigation Unit with information.
4. Pennsylvania woman works to preserve her family's legacy as the first Black residents in Levittown (cbsnews.com) — Nearly 70 years after her parents integrated a Levittown neighborhood, Lynda Myers is working with supporters to install a historical marker near the family’s former Deepgreen Lane home. Their story of racist harassment, resilience, and eventual recognition is also being honored in a new mural at the African American Museum of Bucks County opening June 20.
