FAIRLESS HILLS, PA — The 78th Pennsbury High School commencement will take place on Monday.
The event will be held at 6 p.m. Monday at Falcon Field at Pennsbury High School at 705 Hood Boulevard.
The graduation will feature 739 high school seniors.
The PHS Class of 2026 was awarded a minimum of 134 different scholarships totaling $1,951,236, school officials said.
Post-secondary plans for graduates include commitments to the United States Military, trade schools, and two- and four-year colleges and universities.
Twelve members of the Class of 2026 have committed to serving in the U.S. military and were recognized during a special ceremony held at Pennsbury High School West on June 4.
Student speakers for this year’s commencement include Charlotte Block, Pennsbury High School Class President, and Top Scholars, Sophia Asencio and Emily Moonay.
The commencement program will also feature remarks from Joanna Steere, president of the Pennsbury School Board, Schools Superintendent Thomas A. Smith, and Reggie Meadows, principal of the Pennsbury High School Campus.
Members of the Pennsbury High School Symphonic Winds and Orchestra, under the direction of Tina DiMeglio and Felicia Hebenstreit, will perform Pomp and Circumstance.
The Pennsbury Chamber Choir, under the direction of Lindsey Strauss, will perform The Star-Spangled Banner and the Pennsbury Alma Mater, along with the instrumental ensembles.
