LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA — A Montgomery County woman is facing multiple charges after police said she stalked a Bucks County man she met on online dating site after the relationship ended, police said.
Lindsay Carole Harris, 30, of Ambler, met the victim through Match.com in January, according to a criminal complaint.
The Falls Township Police Department said that Harris broke into the man's home after he told her he no longer wanted a relationship, the complaint states.
The two met in person once, but the man later ended contact and told Harris he was not interested in pursuing a relationship, the complaint states.
Falls Township Police allege that Harris continued contacting the man despite being told to stop and later showed up uninvited at his Fairless Hills home.
On June 28, police officers responded to the home after the man found Harris inside of it, the criminal complaint states.
The complaint states that Harris had opened a bottle of wine and left some food out, before the man spotted her trying to climb through a rear window.
Harris has been charged with burglary, criminal trespass, stalking, and related offenses.
She was released after posting 10 percent of $50,000 bail and is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing on July 21.
