Dog, Cat Perish In Falls Township Fire

FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — Two pets have died in a fire at a home in the Breezy Acres Trailer Park on Thursday afternoon, fire officials said.

The Falls Township Fire Marshal said that the Fairless Hills Fire Department and mutual aid companies responded just before 1 p.m. Thursday to the fire.

Firefighters found a well-involved fire with possible entrapment.

Fire officials said that all of the occupants escaped the home, but a dog and a cat died in the fire.

There were no firefighter injuries reported.

The Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad also responded for patient treatment. The Red Cross was requested to assist the homeowners as the home is uninhabitable.

The Fairless Hills Fire Department - Station 31, Falls Township Fire Company #1, Levittown Fire Company #1, Levittown Fire Company #2, William Penn Fire Company, and Morrisville Fire Company battled the blaze.
