Levittown Man Pleads Guilty To Child Pornography Offenses (patch.com) — Levittown residents are learning that 69-year-old local resident Gary Margerum has pleaded guilty in federal court to distributing and possessing child pornography after investigators found nearly 200 abusive images on his phone. The case began with a national CyberTip and a Bucks County-led investigation, and Margerum now faces a potential decades-long prison sentence, lifetime supervision, and mandatory sex offender registration.
2. Nuuly eyes massive clothing hub for Falls site, 2,000 jobs (phillyburbs.com) — A massive Nuuly clothing operations hub is proposed just across from Falls Township Community Park, within walking distance of Levittown's North Park and Thornridge sections, bringing up to 2,800 jobs but also big traffic and environmental questions. Residents worry about chemicals, truck congestion, and quality-of-life changes, while officials weigh zoning changes and a permanent ban on data centers at the site.
3. Levittown Man Arrested After Two Pedestrians Struck In Hit-&-Run (levittownnow.com) — A Levittown man is jailed on significant charges after police say he hit two women in a Tyler State Park crosswalk and then drove off. Investigators tracked the damaged car back to his Edgewood Lane home and allege he was driving on a suspended license. The victims suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and the case is moving through Bucks County court.
4. 2 charged in shooting that killed innocent driver on I-95 in Philly (nbcphiladelphia.com) — A 21-year-old Levittown man who was shot during a 2025 road-rage incident on I-95 in Philadelphia has died from his injuries, and two suspects are now charged, including with murder. State police say he was an innocent driver caught in errant gunfire. Both defendants are jailed without bail as the case heads toward a September hearing.
