Police reported that — according to witness accounts and a preliminary investigation — a black sedan driven by a 27-year-old Levittown man was heading on the Mill Creek Parkway in the eastbound lanes and had a steady green light.

Police said an E-Bike driven by a 41-year-old Croydon man was heading in the westbound lanes and was reportedly weaving in and out of traffic.

As the sedan went through the intersection, the E-Bike made an abrupt left turn and collided with the sedan, police said.

The E-Bike rider was taken to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital with a suspected head injury, police said.

The driver and passenger of the black sedan remained on scene and not injured.

Police do not believe that alcohol, drugs, or any type of medical emergency was involved in the crash.

Anyone who witnessed the accident or has information about it should contact Police Officer Michael Collins, at 215-302-3314, or email at m.collins@fallstwppd.com.
