MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle while walking on Woodbourne Road early Tuesday morning, police said.
The Middletown Township Police Department responded at 3:34 a.m. on Tuesday to a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on Woodbourne Road between Quincy Drive and Quarry Road.
The crash occurred in the southbound lanes of Woodbourne Road. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and reported the crash to police.
The pedestrian, an adult man from Levittown, sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.
No details are being released on the victim currently pending notifications, police said.
The investigation remains active.
