MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Middletown Township Police Department is investigating a burglary Sunday at a township jewelry store in which a "significant quantity" of items were stolen.
Police officers responded at 8 a.m. on Sunday to Michael's Jewelers at 1321 E. Lincoln Highway for a reported burglary.
Police said the business sustained damage consistent with a forced-entry burglary, including damage to the entrance and multiple jewelry display cases.
Police said a "significant quantity of jewelry" was stolen; but the dollar value of the items was unknown at this time.
Police processed the scene and continue to investigate. No arrests have been made. The investigation remains active.
Investigators are asking anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area during the early morning hours on Sunday, or who may have relevant surveillance or security footage, to contact the Middletown Township Police Department.
