FAIRLESS HILLS, PA — The Pennsbury School District is launching the Pennsbury Arts Hall of Fame, a new initiative celebrating the talented alumni, educators, and community members who have helped build a proud tradition of excellence in the arts.
School officials said the Hall of Fame will recognize individuals who have made meaningful contributions in visual art, instrumental music, vocal music, theatre, and other areas of the arts, while also giving today's students the opportunity to learn from the accomplishments of those before them.
"The Pennsbury Arts Hall of Fame will honor the incredible talent that has emerged from our schools and pay tribute to the educators and community members who have shaped our arts programs," Schools Superintendent Thomas A. Smith said. "It's a way to preserve our history while inspiring the next generation of artists and performers."
Nominations are now open for the inaugural class and will be accepted through April 1, 2027.
Eligible nominees include Pennsbury High School graduates who have demonstrated exceptional achievement or leadership in the arts, as well as former faculty members, administrators, community members, and others who have made a lasting impact on Pennsbury's arts community.
Anyone in the Pennsbury community — including alumni, current or former staff members, students, and community members — may submit a nomination.
The first class of inductees will be announced in Fall 2027 and honored at a formal induction ceremony and reception.
Inductees will also be recognized in a permanent Arts Hall of Fame display outside Keller Hall at Pennsbury High School and on the District website.
