FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — The Falls Township Police Department is investigating explosive materials found in a home in the township's Fairless Hills section.
Falls Township Police responded at 2:30 p.m. on Monday to the 300 block of Chelsea Road after a resident discovered what she believed to be explosive materials inside the home.
During a preliminary investigation, Falls Township Police coordinated with the Philadelphia Police Bomb Disposal Unit, who seized the items and removed them from the home.
Police said there was no danger present to the residents of Fairless Hills.
Police are conducting an active investigation at the home.
