BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — Masked gunmen fired shots that damaged two vehicles and two residential garages in the township's Croydon section early Friday morning, police said.
No injuries were reported.
Bristol Township Police said they received a report of shots fired in the 300 block of Logan Avenue in Croydon at 4:16 a.m. and again two minutes later Friday in the 1900 block of Colonial Avenue.
One resident told police that suspects were checking his car door twice before he shouted at them to leave. He then heard gunshots later and found that his vehicle had been struck by bullets.
Police said his video footage showed one suspect holding what appears to be a handgun while checking the car door handle at this residence.
Another resident provided security footage to police that showed three vehicles — a black 2026 Dodge Ram Pick-up, a 2025 Gray Honda Odessy, and an unknown make/model black sedan — driving slowly in the area, with the suspects exited periodically to check random vehicle doors.
Police said all of the suspects appeared to have masks and gloves on to conceal their identity.
Security footage from one home shows the three vehicles stopping and the occupants appearing to talk before two vehicles drive away as two occupants of the third vehicle get out and fire multiple gunshots down the street, police said.
Police said that some of the rounds could be seen impacting the ground in front of them.
Police said that the Dodge Ram pick-up and Honda Odessey involved had been stolen from Bristol Township earlier on this date.
