FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — A recent string of armed robberies at local 7-Eleven stores continued on Friday, when police say a man pulled a gun on a clerk at a store in Falls Township.

Police say the robbery happened at about 2:30 a.m. at the 7-Eleven at 8019 Mill Creek Road in the township's Levittown section.

Falls Township Police say the man walked into the store and pointed a black, semi-automatic handgun at the clerk, demanding money. He ran away and got into the back seat of a black, Nissan sedan, possibly a Sentra, with a New Jersey registration plate, police said.

Last month, a masked man robbed another Falls 7-Eleven at gunpoint and, in May, two men attempted armed robberies at two different 7-Eleven stores in the township. Those robberies happened around the same time as armed robberies at 7-Eleven stores in Morrisville, Bristol and other nearby locations.

On June 6, a police officer shot a robbery suspect at a 7-Eleven in Langhorne. That officer was part of a task force assembled to investigate the string of convenience store armed robberies.
