Bicyclist Killed After Being Struck In Falls Township
Falls Township Police said a 42-year-old Morrisville man died from his injuries Thursday morning after he was hit by a car on Bristol Pike.
FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA —A 42-year-old Morrisville man has died after being struck while riding his bike on Bristol Pike early Thursday morning, police said.
The Falls Township Police Department said they were dispatched at 12:10 a.m. to the area of 765 Bristol Pike, Morrisville, to investigate a two-vehicle accident involving a passenger car and a bicycle.
The preliminary investigation determined that the vehicle, a Chrysler 300, struck the bicycle from behind.

The operator of the Chrysler 300 is a 60-year-old Morrisville man. Police did not say whether charges would be filed regarding the accident.
Due to the collision, the bicyclist sustained critical injuries and was transported to Capital Health, New Jersey, where he died just after 3 a.m. Thursday, police said.

Police did not release the name of the victim until next of kin could be reached.
