Big Q BBQ Closing Levittown Location
Breaking: the BBQ restaurant is closing effective today, Wednesday, Sept. 7.

Big Q BBQ in Levittown is closing, owner Drew Abruzzese announced Wednesday.
The location on Bristol-Oxford Valley Road will close, effective today, Wednesday, September 7. Abruzzese, in a statement, said he plans to begin a search for new locations in Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs immediately.
“We’ve done tremendously well in Levittown, but we realized we have simply outgrown this location,” explained Abruzzese. “We had no idea when we opened that so many of our customers would want to dine-in, and our site has really limited inside seating.”

Abruzzese will be consolidating his operation and running a central commissary out of The Pineville Tavern in Wrightstown, which recently opened a Big Q takeout outlet inside.
“We are extremely grateful to the residents of Levittown who supported our business and enabled us to grow, and we hope they travel to The Pineville Tavern and our new locations to enjoy our succulent ribs, brisket, fried chicken and side dishes when they crave barbecue," the owner said.
