Body Found In Bristol Twp. Homeless Encampment ID'd

The Bucks County Coroner's Office has identified the man found in a tent on Tuesday in Bristol Township.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA —A body found in a township homeless encampment has been identified, authorities said Thursday.

The Bucks County Coroner's Office said that the body of the man was found earlier this week and that an autopsy is scheduled for Thursday to determine the cause of death.

The man has been identified as 52-year-old Michael Bruce who was living in a homeless encampment behind some homes on Ruby Lane, the coroner's office said.

Next of kin has been notified and toxicology results are not expected for several weeks, the coroner's office said.

Bristol Township Police Lt. Sean Cosgrove told Patch that police found a body in a tent approximately 600 yards behind 46 Ruby Lane on Tuesday.
