BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — There's a new mayor in town in Bristol Borough.
After the recent death of longtime mayor Joseph Saxton, borough council appointed Democrat Ralph DiGuiseppe III, a real estate leader and the son of the borough council president, as the town's new mayor Tuesday night.
DiGuiseppe III's father, Ralph DiGuiseppe, has been the acting mayor since Saxton's death. DiGuiseppe abstained in the vote that appointed his son as mayor.
