Bristol High School Receives $5,000 Environmental Education Grant from SCA
Check presentation took place at Bristol Borough School Board meeting on 5/21.

SCA, a leading global hygiene and forest products company, and one of the Philadelphia region’s most sustainable companies, awarded a $5,000 Environmental Education Grant to Bristol High School, for its Vertical Garden Project, which is being created by the Garden and Green Technology Club. The SCA funds will be used for construction and irrigation of a vertical garden, which will be an extension of the vegetable garden that the Garden and Green technology club created two years ago. The project will educate students and the community members about how they can create home gardens to supply fresh produce for their families even in the limited space that many of their urban dwellings occupy. Construction has already begun.
