Bristol Hires Assistant Borough Manager

BRISTOL BOROUGH, PA — The borough has lured away New Hope's borough manager to be part of its administrative team.

After six years on the job, Peter Gray is leaving New Hope to become the assistant manager of Bristol Borough in a return to Lower Bucks County.

Gray made the announcement public at the New Hope Borough Council's meeting last Tuesday that he was returning to Lower Bucks County.

Before joining New Hope in 2020, Gray served as the Falls Township manager for 13 years and finance director for seven years.

Gray will be joining Bristol Borough Manager James Dillon at the administrative helm of the riverfront town, which has a population of about 10,000 people and is the oldest borough in the county.

“Mr. Dillon knows Peter because he started in Falls Township with Jim many years ago. He and Jim will be able to work together and move this town in the direction we want it to go,” said Bristol Borough Council President Ralph DiGuiseppi. “And at some point hopefully, a few years from now, he can take over Jim’s position. He’s been a manager for a long time. He knows what he’s doing.”
