LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —A Bristol Township woman and her family are among the victims of the Hamas attacks in Israel last weekend, according to reports.

Carol SimanTov, 70, was killed Saturday morning in the attack after being shot and killed as she tried to get into her safe room, WFMZ-TV reported. Her Facebook page said she was originally from Levittown and went to school at Woodrow Wilson High School.

WFMZ-TV said that SimanTov and her dog were killed by militants in a town in southern Israel.

The station said her sister, who lives in Hatfield, said that she went to Israel when she was 20 and raised a family there.

The killing happened on the Nir Oz kibbutz, which is located approximately one mile from Gaza and close to the site of the Nova Music Festival, CNN reported.
