Located on two campuses, Friends Village provides independent living and personal care in peaceful settings embedded in residential neighborhoods. Our Paxson Campus is in the heart of Newtown Borough, close to shops, dining and local events. Our Styer Campus, on Lower Dolington Road, boasts raised-bed gardens and walking paths for resident enjoyment. The full calendar of resident-informed programming features lectures, wellness classes, discussion groups and cultural events to promote residents’ intellectual, physical and social well-being. If needed, Friends Village provides our residents with flexible, affordable support in their own apartments through its NeighborCare program. By using our long-tenured and dedicated staff, it is a home care service without the onerous minimum hours or uncertain staffing of agencies. And if care needs increase further, personal care is available in our historic Paxson Hall. What truly sets Friends Village apart is the warm sense of community. Our Fall Festival is a ton of fun for families. Our activities/games are geared towards younger children.
Come enjoy Fall Fun on the Farm! Each child with a fall festival ticket will receive a sugar pumpkin ($2.50 value) to decorate at the pumpkin painting table!
Activities include pumpkin painting, Jump Pad, Hayride to the Pick Your Own Patch (pumpkins picked are priced per lb.), corn maze, straw mountain, corn pit, games, barrel cart rides, bubble station, and plenty to do for everyone. Facepainting is an additional fee and pony rides start on September 26th ($10 per ride).&nbsp;
