MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA —The owner of Dynasty Sports & Framing is apologizing to customers on Friday for "several obstacles" that made for delays and confusion when the business hosted three Philadelphia Phillies at an event.

James Williams, president of Dynasty Sports in the Oxford Valley Mall, thanked customers for coming to the event featuring Phillies All-Star Pitcher Christopher Sanchez, Centerfielder Johan Rojas, and Closer Jose Alvarado on Thursday night at the store.

"We know it was a tough night for all involved and truly appreciate your understanding, patience, and continued support of our business," Williams said. "As much planning that went into making a special night, there were several obstacles that occurred that made for delays and confusion during the event. These obstacles included lines having to be moved multiple times, athletes arriving earlier or later than scheduled, and a breakdown of the contingency plan that was in place to ensure proper flow and organization."

Williams said he was proud of Dynasty staff for navigating the challenges, he said "We ultimately failed to provide you with the utmost experience that we genuinely pride ourselves on."

Williams said in the coming days the business will evaluate where improvements need to be made, including a game plan for what to do when multiple athletes arrive at different times as well as how to streamline better communication amongst staff in real-time.

"We are committed to reflecting on the event and look forward to making the necessary adjustments needed to ensure a fun, organized, and enjoyable event for all involved," Williams said.

Williams thanked customers who reached out Thursday and Friday with words of encouragement and kindness.

"For the customers who left disappointed and aired their opinions to our staff and social media pages, I thank you as well for the helpful constructive criticism," he said. "I encourage any additional comments or concerns to be directed to me as I would love to have the opportunity to receive your constructive criticism on steps you believe can be taken that will make for an easier experience for you.

Over the 13 years since opening, Dynasty Sports has hosted hundreds of athletes at its numerous locations.

"I truly hope that if this was your first experience, you allow us to earn your trust and support back. For those who frequent our events, thank you for understanding that last night was not a typical event and for not judging us off one rough outing," Williams said. "Without you, these special events would never be possible. Thank you for taking the time to join us last night and for being as understanding as you have been. We are looking forward to seeing you at future events."
