Deputy Police Chief Appointed In Bristol Township

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA —Bristol Township has promoted one of its police officers to Deputy Police Chief.

The department has made numerous promotions over the past few months.

In late October, the council promoted three officers in rank.

Sergeants Sean Cosgrove and CJ Winik were promoted to Lieutenants and Officer Jason Mancuso was promoted to Sergeant. All were sworn in by District Judge Terry Hughes.

In other Bristol Township news, the 2023 meeting schedule has been announced:

• Council Meetings will be held on the third Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. and the first Thursday of each month, as needed.
• Planning Commission meetings will be held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m., as needed.
• Environmental Advisory Committee meetings will be held on the first Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m., as needed.
• Zoning Hearing Board meetings will be held on the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m., as needed.
• Civil Service Commission meetings will be held on the fourth Thursday of the month at 5:30 p.m., as needed.

All meetings will be held at the Municipal Building, 2501 Bath Road, Bristol, PA 19007 (unless virtual meetings are required). Members of the public are encouraged to attend and participate. Any meeting changes will be publicly advertised.
