1. What are the top issues currently facing your position and how do you plan to address them?
The top issue facing our community is the Heroin/Fentanyl crisis that threatens to harm our children and destroy our community. As District Judge, I will participate in Drug Court and advocate for Advanced Drug Court to be brought to Falls Township.
2. Identify specific goals or ideas you have to enhance life in your position:
I am running to be your District Judge, fair and impartial. I am also running to help people, especially young people, change the trajectory of their lives. While it is gratifying to do this on the legislative level, I believe it will be even more impactful to help individuals as a judge.
3. What in your experience or background prepares you for election to office?
- Former member of the Pennsbury School Board, 1996–1999
- State Representative {Pa HD-140) since 2007
- Current Majority Chairman Commerce Committee — Sponsored hundreds of bills dealing with the judicial and criminal codes. Authored landmark legislation dealing with Children’s Mental Health.
- Working with Bucks County District Attorney Matt Weintraub, I founded the Push Out The Pusher campaign that resulted in many arrests and convictions including the largest heroin/fentanyl drug bust in the history of Bucks County.
