'Elmo’s Eggstravaganza' Kicks Off At Sesame Place
Sesame Place Philadelphia begins 10 days of festivities during Spring Break starting this weekend.
MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Sesame Place Philadelphia opens daily for 10 days of festivities during Spring Break from Saturday, March 28, through Monday, April 6, for "Elmo’s Eggstravaganza."
The annual festival at the Langhorne-based amusement park returns for Easter-themed fun to kick off the park’s 40 seasons of furry fun.
All-new in 2026 is an Easter Egg Hunt & Basket Decorating with Cookie Monster.

Guests can snap a photo with Cookie Monster, decorate their very own Easter baskets, and finish the experience with a fun-filled egg hunt at Abby’s Backyard BBQ*.

- Easter Bunny Picture Patch, where guests can meet the one and only Easter Bunny in an immersive Meet & Greet experience
- Easter Dine with Elmo & Friends*, featuring photos with everyone’s favorite friends and the Easter Bunny
- Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt, a self-guided adventure throughout the park to find six giant Easter Eggs
- Furry Friends Bunny Hop Dance Party, where guests can move, groove, and hop along to cheerful tunes with their favorite furry friends
- Exclusive Hours for Season Pass Members, only on Friday, March 27 from 4pm – 8pm
The park also invites guests to celebrate Passover with its annual Passover Event from Wednesday, April 1 through Monday, April 6. Guests can watch a special presentation and sing-along led by a local cantor, meet the cuddly Baby Bear, and enjoy a Passover Storytime.
In addition, Sesame Place Philadelphia will honor Autism Acceptance Month with a free giveaway of Julia Glo Pals Kits! Guests who visit on Thursday, April 2 – World Autism Day – can pick up a Julia Glo Pal Kit at 10am in front of the Sunny Day Carousel. Glo Pals are water-activated, light-up sensory toys designed to make playtime magical. One per guest, while supplies last.
Sesame Place Philadelphia will celebrate four seasons of furry fun in 2026. Guests can enjoy their favorite whirling, twirling, soaring, and spinning Sesame Street-themed attractions, character stage shows, and the award-winning Sesame Street Party Parade. Following Spring Break, the park is open weekends and select weekdays through Friday, May 22 when daily operations begin for the summer.
