Elmo’s Eggstravaganza​ Starts Saturday At Sesame Place

MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Elmo’s Eggstravaganza gets the Easter holiday in full swing on Saturday at Sesame Place.

The amusement park will celebrate Easter fun with the Sesame Street Party Parade, Meet & Greets with the one and only Easter Bunny, and lots more egg-citing offerings.

The event runs through Sunday, April 7.

Sesame Place said that this spring Break, guests can spin, soar, whirl, and twirl on their favorite Sesame Street-themed attractions.

Sesame Street friends, dressed in their festive Easter attire, will be available for Meet & Greets at Photos with Elmo & Friends and on the Sesame Street Neighborhood.

With two fun ways to meet the Easter Bunny, Easter exclusives at Elmo’s Eggstravaganza include:

• The Easter Bunny Picture Patch – Guests can journey through the bright and colorful Easter Bunny’s Picture Patch to meet and take a photo with the one and only Easter Bunny! This immersive Easter Meet & Greet features bright colors and delightful décor for Instagram-worthy photos of the experience.
• Easter Dine with Elmo & Friends – Guests looking for a delicious meal and extra time with their favorite furry friends can visit Dine with Elmo & Friends for a special Easter Dine. This fun-filled experience will feature a buffet-style feast and an appearance from the Easter Bunny! Additional fee and reservations are required for Dine with Elmo & Friends.
• Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt – This interactive adventure takes guests around the park to find six giant Easter Eggs. Once guests complete their activity sheets, they can receive a special prize at Mr. Hooper’s Gift Shop.
• Furry Friends Bunny Hop Dance Party – Guests can move, groove, and hop along to cheerful tunes with their favorite furry friends at the Dance Party Stage near Oscar’s Wacky Taxi.
• Sesame Street Storytime – Guests can gather at Sesame Studio Theater for an interactive read-out-loud experience, followed by a surprise visit from a Sesame Street friend! Sesame Street Storytime is first-come, first-served, and limited capacity.

The fan-favorite Sesame Street Party Parade, an energetic block party featuring everyone’s favorite furry friends, and stage show Welcome to the Party! will both return for the first time since September 2023. Guests can spot their favorite furry friends in these lively, musical performances each operating day.

On select dates throughout Elmo’s Eggstravaganza, guests can visit Abby’s Backyard Barbecue for Cookie Monster’s Donut Decorating. Cookie Monster, wearing his adorable Easter attire, will join guests for Meet & Greets and photos for a delightful – and delicious – time! An additional fee and reservations are required for Donut Decorating’s Cookie Monster.
