Fire That Injured 8 In Lower Bucks Co. Not Suspicious: State Police
Pennsylvania State Police Wednesday issued its first report on a fire that destroyed a duplex in Langhorne Borough early Saturday morning.

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —A Pennsylvania State Police investigation of a fire that injured eight people living in a Langhorne Borough duplex does not appear to be suspicious.
The Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) Troop M –Trevose Station is investigating a residential fire that occurred at about 5:20 a.m. Saturday at 146 W. Richardson Ave.
State Troopers found a fire that spread from a three-story twin residence to the adjoining home located at 144 W. Richardson Ave.

Multiple Bucks Cunty fire departments responded to assist with extinguishing the fire.
Eight people escaped the fire from the two homes.

Five people were transported to Saint Mary’s Medical Center and one person was transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, police said.
Two people transported to Saint Mary’s Medical Center were eventually life-flighted to Temple
University Hospital.
Four cats and one dog died from the fire, police said.
The initial investigation revealed the fire appears to have originated at 146 W. Richardson Ave.
The fire does not appear to be suspicious and there is no evidence that the fire was politically motivated, police said.
PSP Troop M Fire Marshal is the lead investigator in this fire investigation.
Assisting at the scene: Troop M Trevose Patrol Unit, Troop M Forensic Services Unit, the Trevose Criminal Investigation Unit, the Middletown Fire and Emergency Services, the Langhorne Middletown Fire Company, the Parkland Fire Company, Penndel Fire Company and Penndel Middletown Emergency Squad.
