Galloway Begins 17th Year Representing 140st Legislative District

The state representative was sworn in to serve the district that includes Middletown and Falls townships, Morrisville, and Tullytown.

LEVITTOWN, PA —State Rep. John Galloway took the oath of office in the state Capitol this week to begin his new term representing the 140st Legislative District.

Galloway has held the seat since 2006.

Galloway said some of his priorities will be fully-funded education for all, economic development and job creation, high-quality affordable healthcare, and environmental protections.

“The greatest honor of my life has been serving the 140th District,” Galloway said. “I am determined to keep fighting the good fight for Pennsylvania’s working families so that they live in safe neighborhoods, their kids go to good schools and they have well-paying, family-sustaining jobs.”

The 140th Legislative District comprises part of Middletown Township, Falls Township, Morrisville Borough, and Tullytown Borough.

Galloway’s office is located at 8610 New Falls Road in Levittown.

The Honorable John McNally, Judge, Court of Common Pleas, Dauphin County administered the oath of office. Galloway was joined by 26 first-term Democratic members, eight of whom are women.
